Shine On You Crazy Diamond – Pink Floyd History. Part II

Hi all!
Today we will continue to analyze the biography of the group in detail and thoroughly Pink Floyd. This is the II part of the blog, it is the final. However, if for some reason you have not seen the first part, then I strongly recommend reading. For the rest, prepare a huge portion of mugs with dumplings, and pleasant reading!

So, The Dark Side of the Moon shot and made a splash. However, Pink Floyd decided not to stand still and record a new album. Yes, so that it is not inferior to the previous. And in 1975 a new album was released – Wish you.

Wish You Were Here (1975)

After the success of the previous album, Pink Floyd was in a limited state – there were difficulties with the processing of accumulated material, because the “moon” devastated the four both physically and morally. No one could come up with anything trite. Speaking of the first sessions, Richard Wright described what was happening “the beginning of the ambiguity”, and Roger Waters called this time “painful”. Drummer Nick Mason considered the process of multi-track recording to a protracted and tiring, while David Gilmore was generally more interested in improving the existing material than in writing something new. Complex relationships with the media also began due to cynical and biliary articles written by Nick Kent and Pit Irskin, observers of the New Musical Express music magazine-journalists have criticized all new material recorded without the participation of Sid Barrett.

In 1974, 3 songs were born during concert tours: “Raving and Drooling”, “Gotta Be Crazy” and “Shine on You Crazy Diamond”. Waters and decided to develop the last song and turn into the title song of the new album, which was decided to devote to Sid Barrett. Roger also decided to devote the album to the criticism of the modern musical industry, which turned into a “car for making money”. In the first week of the new 1975, the musicians returned to the studio of Abby Road and began to work.

“Shine on” already in the course of the recording lasted about 26 minutes. However, Waters decided to experiment and divide the song into two halves and scatter them at the beginning and end of the album. Except Gilmor, all this idea was supported. After the first and in the second halves of “Shine on” lay songs about the same “musical business”. Thus, Waters wanted to show the take -off and fall of Sid. The recording lasted more than seven months with two breaks: one in April 1975, the other in June. There were no places on the songs “Raving and Drooling” and “Gotta Be Crazy” on the new album, so they were postponed to future releases. However, during the recording there was an incident that Pink Floyd will not forget, perhaps, never ..

June 5, 1975. The SHINE ON You Crazy Diamond entry was coming to an end, the group was preparing for a concert tour in the United States. Suddenly a man entered the studio. He was shaking on Lyso, including his eyebrows, obviously with signs of obesity, and in his hands he held a plastic bag. None of the group members recognized him: Wright thought was one of Waters’s acquaintances, Gilmore believed that this was someone from the technical staff. However, soon it came to everyone – it came Sid Barrett. Nobody saw him for about 5 years ..

What happened to him after leaving the group? In 1970, at the insistence of Emi and Harvest Records, he began his solo career and recorded two albums – The Madcap Laughs and Barrett (both in 1970). David Gilmore produced both albums. However, in 1972, the contract with EMI ended and after that SID did not release anything else. Many Barrett’s acquaintances tried to squeeze out something of him, but to no avail.

And here is June 5, 1975 … Waters was upset by the appearance of his old friend. According to some, two or three people in the studio cried. Sid came, talked with people, but no one understood what he was saying. It was an absolutely incoherent and instant speech.

Together with the group, he listened to Shine on You Crazy Diamond, sitting motionless until the end of the song. After listening, Barrett said (despite the fact that the song was already almost completed), that if necessary, he is always ready to help. He later joined the guests celebrating the wedding of Gilmore, and, having been in the cafeteria for some time, without saying goodbye, he left. After that, Nobody saw Sid Barrett again.

Gilmore called this meeting like this:

Thin, elegant, albeit not always a neat and sober man whom I saw for the last time … turned into something spherical, without eyebrows and hair. This was a big loss. He could have achieved a lot, I risk assuming that he would become a great person.

Be that as it may, September 12, 1975, the group has already turned 10 years old, the album was released. And let’s finally talk about what he was.

Wish You Were Here affects the theme of alienation, the problems of the musical industry and the personality of the former member of the group of Sid Barrett. Each song carried its idea in itself, but again they were musically connected, again each song flowed smoothly into another. And what was special in these compositions?

1)Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V) – The beginning of the album. With the help of music and texts, Waters wanted to convey all the sadness associated with the absence of Barrett, called him a “crazy diamond”. The whole song is dedicated to him, and in it you can hear disappointment in the loss of such a great musician. Is perhaps the most famous composition of the group.

2)WelCome to the Machine -Long 7-minute composition. It was she who talked about the musical industry as a “car for making money”. This “car” knows where you were, what you dreamed about, because she herself told you about it. In other words, it leaves no way for creative implementation. The topic, as for me, is still relevant.

3)Have a cigar – already more sarcastically criticized music managers. The lyrics present in it are replete with characteristic allegories and cliches, for example, “We have lost our account” (We Can Hardly Count), “We call it raking money” (We Call It Riding the Gravy Train) and “By the way, which of you is Pink?”(Oh by the Way, Which One’s Pink?) – the question asked to the group members at every opportunity. For vocals, Roy Harper was invited to this song.

4)Wish you – the song showed not so much the depressing state of Barrett as the development of Waters’s personality. According to Roger’s statement: “She is about the“ confrontation of the two sides ”of his own contradictory nature: the compassionate idealist and“ grip, greedy, selfish guy who dreams of getting to sweat and eat all of them ”. However, Gilmore said that he still recalled Sid when he played. Another most famous composition of the album and group.

5)Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX) – continuation of the first composition and completion of the entire album.

Song Shine On Crazy Diamond is the longest composition of the group. If you fold all the parts entirely, it turns out 26 minutes. Full overtaking Echoes (23:31) and Atom Heart Mother (23:44).

Another feature of the album was the cover. And this time she was engaged in HipGnosis studio. It was decided to make 2 covers: one for the public and one for trade. To convey the meaning of the songs “Welcome to the Machine” and “Have A Cigar” by designer George Hardy, a sticker was developed with the image of two mechanical hands merging in a handshake against the background of four elements: fire, water, earth and air. The sticker was supposed to be glued onto the black shell, and already under it was contained the cover itself, in which the plate lay.

The main cover depicted a businessman, shaking the hand of his burning double (or other businessman). This scene, according to the authors, should symbolize the fact that people, due to fear of “burning” often try to hide their true feelings.

Album in a turn

The first presentation of some songs of the album took place on July 5, 1975 at the Musical Festival in the city of Navvort. But the concert turned out to be extremely unsuccessful due to unforeseen circumstances: at Roy Harper, someone stole a stage costume, which is why he broke the glass of the Pink Floyd van in a fit of rage; Before the performance of the field with the audience, two spitfire planes were to fly the time of World War II, but due to poor connection, the aircraft flew out too early, and the musicians, not having time to properly configure the equipment, were forced to start playing ahead of time;During the concert, serious problems with power supply arose, because of which Wright keys sounded completely different from them (at the slightest increase in volume, they began to fake very much, without falling in tone). In the end, the annoyed musician left the stage, but after a while he returned with a less sensitive instrument to take part in the performance of songs from the album The Dark Side of the Moon. In addition, musical critics who were present at the festival were not allowed for the curtains, so the first essays about the new material of the group were negative.

After the release in the UK, the album was sold in the amount of 250 thousand. copies of the plate and the first position in the chart was reached. Sales were so good that there was literally nothing left on the shelves and EMI had to supplement the party. About 900 thousand were received in relation to the American publication. orders, so already in the second week the album reached the first line in the rank of Billboard 200. Until 1991, Wish You Were Here was Pink Floyd as quickly sold by Pink Floyd.

But criticism of authoritative publications was ambiguous. Rolling Stones journalists said that the potential of the idea “Shine on” was blurry and not completely. Some critics on the contrary praised the title song, calling it almost symphonic. Despite this, in 2003, the Rolling Stone Album was included in the list of five hundred best and put on the 209th line, and for many listeners the album is considered one of the best. The album took 4th place in the TOP-25 list of the best albums of progressive rock according to Progarchives.com, and “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” took second place in the list “25 best songs of all time in the genre of progressive rock”.

My opinion about the album: This album began my acquaintance with Pink Floyd, or rather with the song Shine on You Crazy Diamond. This acquaintance was implemented thanks to … yes .. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. But I don’t see anything shameful here, because in my environment few people listened to Pink Floyd and it is unlikely that I would have started listening. And then Araki took and inserted a reference on them. Great catalyst for dating a group.

And my opinion is this: the best album of the group, along with The Dark Side of the Moon or even better. Shine on You Crazy Diamond, yielding only to Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen, is the best song of all times and peoples created on this sinful earth. I strongly recommend that this album is listening.

3.Pigs (Three Different Oones) (Waters) – 11:28
4.Sheep (Waters) – 10:21
5.Pigs on the Wing (Part 2) (Waters) – 1:27

The basis for the album was songs that were not included in the previous one: “Raving and Drooling”, “Gotta Be Crazy”, which turned into Sheep and Dogs, respectively. This time the role of Rick Wright as a composer decreased. According to him, for this album he did not write anything at all. Waters wrote the entire basis of the album paired with Gilmore. Even then, some claims began to appear ..

Unlike other albums, Animals was not recorded at the ABBEY ROAD studio, but in the Britannia Row Studios studio. (The reasons for the studio change were not found by me. If anyone knows – go ahead in a comment)

Be that as it may, the album was casino apps for android real money released on a release on January 23, 1977, and that was what he was.

This time, the concept of the album was similar to the plot of the novel “Cross Courtyard” George Orwell. All songs describe different classes of people as animals, dividing them into 3 parts: dogs, pigs and sheep. But who are they?

1)Pigs on the Wing (Part 1) – The beginning of the album. More optimistic song than everyone else. The flying pig, according to Waters, is a symbol of hope.

2)Dogs – Dogs in this song are careerists from large companies, for whom all life passes in an vigilant competitive war among themselves for the right to be the first. Lost – it means died.

3)Pigs (Three Different ONES) – Pig – the top of the “social staircase” (moralists, and just influential people), manipulating society. Of the three pigs described, only the latter managed to identify – Mary Whitehouse – an English public figure, an opponent of liberalism and a supporter of a tough censorship on TV.

4)Sheep – Sheep – ordinary people who follow the tops: pigs and dogs. Loyal to the political system and are ready to listen to the deception. However, at the end, the songs, suddenly, rise against the system, but as a result, everything ends not too rosy.

5)Pigs on the Wing (Part 2) – completion of the album on the entire optimistic note.

As usual, the concept of songs is relevant to this day. Even in our country, if you look carefully, you can find the plot of this album. Many note that Animals is also part of a response to punk rock movement, such as Sex Pistols. The second, by the way, threw a lot of stones into the Pink Floyd garden, considering them an extremely dull group.

The album brought the group two characters that are now clearly associated with Pink Floyd: the London Battersei power station, now not operating, and a forty -foot inflatable pig, photographed on the cover of the album.

Pig history is quite interesting. It was manufactured in Germany at the old factory for the production of airships and balloons. On the day when photography was supposed to be carried out, a sniper with a rifle was invited. Due to the lack of helium of equipment, they could not inflate the pig and the shooting had to be postponed. Prepare and fix the pig at the power plant, and also made photos only the next day. During a photograph, a pig broke out of a strong wind, the air flows directed her to Khitrovo Airport. It was very dangerous for aircraft, and therefore a helicopter was called for the “capture” of the ball. However, everything worked out well and the pig fell twenty miles southeast of London. The animal was returned to the owners for a reward of 1000 pounds. Since then, the pig has become an integral attribute of any Pink Floyd concert.

A copy of the pig, photographed in 2011

According to rumors, the pig saw one of the civilian pilots before landing, but did not report it, fearing that he would be sent to a narcologist immediately.

Animals in the first week of sales took 2nd place in the British chart and 3rd place in the USA. Critics called the album “one of the most extreme, ruthlessly straightforward iconoclastic blocks of music that it is possible to hear on this side of the sun …”. However, Rick Wright said that this is not the most beloved album of the group.

My opinion about the album: the album is good. Not Wish you, Of course, but I liked the concept of the album. However, as for me, the songs sound too tedious. I have not yet been remembered for a single song, except Pigs on the Wing And the end Dogs. Therefore, I can’t definitely say whether it is amazing or commendable from an objective point of view. But with subjective: commendable. The album does not catch me very much, but you can recommend to listen to listening.

In 1977, Pink Floyd toured with the program In the flesh tour, speaking in large stadiums. And during the last concert of the tour at the Olympic stadium in the Montreal, some fans behaved noisily and annoyed their behavior not only the rest of the listeners, and Pink Floyd participants. David Gilmore refused to go out to BIS after execution Money And Us and them. And Roger Waters could not stand it and spat the fan directly in the face. After this incident, Waters was in a state of alienation for a long time. He was at some point ashamed of his behavior, he wanted to isolate from the world, build a “wall” ..

While Wright and Gilmore left for France to record their soloists, and Mason produced the album Green, Roger Waters wrote material for the new album. So, perhaps the most conceptual album Pink Floyd was born – The Wall.

However, here it is worth a little resort, The Wall -This is in a sense of the franchise, consisting of an album, film and concerts. In accordance with these components, the story will be divided into three parts. On what logic, I hope it is clear.

Waters plans to write not just an album, but a whole rock opera with a through plot. When the whole group gathered in Britannia Row Studios, Roger showed two records with a different plot. The first was a 90-minute demos under the working name “bricks in the wall”, about the place of man in society and isolation. On the second – a project on human dreams of one night, which concerned the issues of marriage, sex, as well as the pros and cons of monogamy and family life in comparison with polygamy. The group stopped on the first version.

However, the group had problems with finances. There is a very difficult reason, but the essence is: Norton Warburg Group (financial planning) has invested 3.3 million pounds (16.9 million pounds in the current value) from the Pink Floyd budget for investment in new enterprises. This reduced the taxes of musicians. However, the strategy failed because these same enterprises were soon closed and investments went collaps. After that, Pink Floyd had to pay tax up to 83% of the investment amount. There were courts and proceedings, and as a result of this huge losses. Due to financial difficulties, the musicians had to leave the country for a month in order not to pay huge taxes. Waters moved to Switzerland, Mason – to France, and Gilmore and Wright to the Greek Islands.

Thus, the release of the new album has become important for the group, t.To. The further existence of the group depended on him. Waters wanted to be safe and find the producer from the side. And found – Bob Ezrin. Roger’s civilian wife was his secretary, so they came to him.

Bob to work with Pink Floyd has already produced Alice Cooper, Lou Read and Kiss. Ezrin was allowed to help with the spelling of the album, and he cleaned the excess, improved the structure, etc.D. The result of the work is 40 page scenario, which was read to the rest of the group. Everyone had their eyes, everyone could already imagine the future album “.

Ezrin’s work was really impressive. The Tial’s song was practically his work. Years later, the sound engineer Nick Griffiths commented on the role of the producer:

Ezrin’s contribution was impressive, he really managed to unite all this together. He is a very purposeful guy. There was a lot of controversy between Roger and Dave about how a new plate should sound, but Ezrin brought bridges between them.Ezrin’s contribution was impressive, he really managed to unite all this together. He is a very purposeful guy. There was a lot of controversy between Roger and Dave about how a new plate should sound, but Ezrin brought bridges between them.

It was said about disputes not in vain. During the recording in the group there were real scandals. Disputes were between Roger Waters and Richard Wright in particular. Rick did not like Ezrin’s work, because he was not punctual enough, despite all his merits. He also did not like that Waters took sole control of the group. Roger himself said: “If someone had a good idea, I could approve it and even use it. But we had only one leader – I “. An uncomfortable atmosphere was created, and Wright in protest helped with recording only at night, or when Waters was not in the studio. Roger did not like this behavior and there were disputes about this. And in the end, Waters took and fired Rick Wright due to the fact that he did not take the proper participation in the recording. The first crack of the collapse of the group. However, Wright remained a session musician, but more on that later ..

By August 1979, most of the material was ready, and on November 30, 1979 The Wall went into the release. And now it’s time to talk about the concept of the album.

As it was said before that, The Wall was a rock opera with his plot. The main character was the character Pink Floyd. In childhood, his father died in the war, his mother paranoidally took care of her son, and in the future he becomes a musician, but because of problems with drugs and society, he builds among himself and all the “wall”. Nothing reminds of the plot of the album? Yes, the character was the basis of the biography of Waters and Barrett.

Unlike rock opera, there were no dialogues on behalf of other characters. However, each song carried a mini-station and stacked the overall picture of what was happening. And now about each song in order.

1)In the flesh? – The beginning of the album, which is a reference to the very concert tour, where Waters made his spitting. According to the plot, Pink Floyd – the main character of the whole album – arranges a concert, but in his presentation the “Nazi meeting” is seen more likely. You can already guess about the psychic imbalance of the character. The image of Nazism in the song is chosen for a reason. At those very concerts of 1977, Waters represented rock concerts more like a war, and not entertainment.

2)The Thin Ice – It is learned about the loss of father Pink in the war. The sensitive hero suffers greatly because of this.

3)Another Brick in the Wall (Part 1) – Loss of the father for Pink – the beginning of the construction of the “wall”. As Waters himself pointed out, the song is not just about the children whose fathers died in the war, but about the more general feeling of abandonment and how this feeling of his own inferiority makes a person surround himself with emotional barriers.

4)The happiest days of our lines – tells about the school years Floyd. About how teachers literally underestimated the success of the hero, equal to him with all. And the purpose of such teachers to make “diligent” students who only remember, and not learn.

5)Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2) – openly expressed protest against bad teachers who became Floyd for Pink Floyd with the next bricks in the wall “. Is the most famous song of the album. However, the majority interpret the song incorrectly, believing that it is against education in general. However, for most students, this song has become a kind of hymn. Because of this, the song was prohibited in Yuar. Even my former classmates, who are unfamiliar with the group, heard to my surprise about this song.

Children’s choir for the song was found in one of the schools of Ailington, whose music teacher agreed to bring a whole class to the studio. Subsequently, a scandal flared up when reporters became aware that the children did not get either a fee or even an album. After that, the school received a lot of money for new musical equipment, and Waters personally made sure that each student of the class receive a discip.

6)Mother – A song about Mom Pink, who in every possible way compensated the loss of the father with excessive care and protection from external threats. Because of this, the hero moves strongly from society, and from girls in particular. Thus, mom becomes “one brick in the wall”.

7)Goodbye Blue Sky – Song about the entry of the child into the adult world. However, for a kick, the future will not be joyful ..

8)Empty Spaces – We are talking about finding a kick of yourself in this new adult world. And the hero becomes a fairly famous rock musician.

9)Young Lust -A song about how Pink Floyd, entering the world of rock and roll, starts to “all heavy” and begins to use alcohol and drugs, establish relations with groups. As it turns out, the hero managed to marry, but at the end of the song his wife is cheating on him.

10)One of my Turns -In a fit of rage, Pink Floyd destroys his apartment in front of his fan (something similar was with Roem Harper, do not find?).

11)DON’T LEAVE Me Now – Pink Floyd makes desperate attempts to return his wife, but this does not work. The hero falls into despair.

12)Another Brick in the Wall (Part 3) – The loss of the wife finally completes the wall of the kick. He decides that he does not need the world around him, and decides to isolate from him.

13)Goodbye Cruel World – The main character finally says goodbye to the world and isolated. The song describes the state of a person who has turned away from the world and.

14)Hey You – call to the people who built the wall to establish normal relationships among themselves. Having locked himself in his room, Pink turns to his friends and loved ones with a request not to leave him. In this song, the image of worms, a symbol of smell for the first time, which amaze the consciousness of people who have gone into painful isolation appears. A fairly famous song.

15)Is the Anybody out?? – Pink’s question to make sure of isolation. And he does not receive an answer. This means that the wall perfectly protects it from others.

16)Nobody Home – The painful introspection of Pink, during which it becomes obvious that it does not exist, “there is no one at home”.

17)Vera – Memory of Vera Lynn, popular during the Second World War, the singer, whose work raised the fighting spirit of soldiers who fought in Europe and Africa. Her image appears after watching the TV with a kick.

18)Bring the Boys Back Home – Song about the state of Pink when the father went to war. People should not go to a meaningless war and die.

19)ComFortably Numb -Pink is about to go on stage, but it is not ready. A technician enters the room to call a kick, and, having not received an answer, calls the doctor to be (“doctor feelgood”), who makes a pink an injection, possibly heroin so that he can play the show. In parallel with this, the hero recalls his childhood when he was happy and he experiences “pleasant numbness”.

It is considered the best song of the album, t.To. Together with the good text of Waters, David Gilmore composed a beautiful solo on the guitar, which is considered one of the best in the world. It conveys all the emotions of both the hero and the performer. The peculiarity of the song lies in the fact that it is musical in any way with the rest of the songs, and it can be listened to it regardless of the album.

The lyrics of the song are based on the real case of Waters, when he was treated for hepatitis and was under the influence of tranquilizers that a certain doctor from Philadelphia was injected so that he could speak at concerts.

20)The Show Must Go on (damn familiar name. ) – describes the condition of the kick before going on stage. And despite the state of the hero, his managers are convinced that the show should continue.

21)In the flesh – Reprise of the very first composition. Here the hero behaves aggressively on stage, says that the old Pink Floyd remained at the hotel. In front of us now came out his dark side of his psyche. And here he represents himself as a kind of Nazi Fuhrer, divides people into the right and wrong.

22)Run Like Hell – Pink urges his fans to follow him, his new Fuhrer. Here Waters presented fear of fascism, Nazism and other totalitarianism.

23)Waiting for the Worms – In a sick imagination, Pink, the concert develops into a rally, and he, turning to the crowd through a megaphone, calls it for a campaign against social minorities, a clear hint of the Holocaust. However, at the end of the song the drug effect ceases, and Floyd asks to stop all this.

24)Stop – Pink is aware of his guilt, and decides to conduct a trial of himself.

25)The trial – Actually the court itself. It is testified by all those who were a source for the construction of the “wall”: mother, teacher, ex -wife. The court concludes that the hero needs to “break the wall!”. Which is at the end of the song and is.

26)Outside The Wall – The end of the album, a certain epilogue. There is an appeal directly to the listeners. Really loving people can break through to you through the wall, which gives hope.

But the most important thing is the album cyclic. Song Outside The Wall ends with the words “is it that place …”, but In the flesh? begins with the words “… where did we come from?”. As a result, it turns out “is it not the place where we came?”. This may mean that this is not the last wall in the life of the protagonist, and soon the story will be repeated ..

If you do not peer, then there is a feeling that you did not understand anything at all. But this was an author’s idea: with the help of metaphors and omissions, to convey the main plot to the listener, and he himself already interpreted as it should. And by and large, we have a complex and integrated work that shows how a closed person relates to the world, and how he actually became so.

The cover, by the way, this time did not do HipGnosis studio. Waters quarreled with the Storm Torgerson due to the fact that he used the image from the cover of Animals album in his book “Walk Away Rene”. As a result, the artist Gerald Scarf was engaged in the design of the record, the concept of the album was inspiration for the subject of design. Although it would seem, the usual wall. However, at the turns, a wall was depicted at different stages of its construction, accompanied by characters who appeared in the plot.

That’s how it looked
And in 1979 the album was met warmly. The single “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” became the leader of the charts of Great Britain, the USA, Norway, Portugal, Israel, West Germany and South Africa. The album itself took 1st place in the chart of the United States and 3 in the UK. Entered the top three best -selling albums in the United States. Rolling Stone magazine placed The Wall for 87th place in its list “500 greatest albums of all time”.

My opinion about the album: The Wall is really magnificent, and deserves to be listened to. In particular Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 and Comfortably Numb. This is the album in which you need to truly listen to the meaning, realize music and texts, a real phenomenon in the world of music. However, my personal top “The best”, The Wall takes 3rd place, giving way to Wish You Were Here and The Dark Side of the Moon. Yes, the album is not my favorite, it seems to me not as lamp as the previous ones. But listening to The Wall was pleasant, in some places I personified myself with the hero. So “amazing”, without any doubt.

Short chapter, but deserving of your attention

In 1980, a concert tour was implemented in support of the album, which was remembered by all fans of Pink Floyd. A bunch of fireworks, a huge wall on stage, many actors and musicians, etc.D. But let’s go about everything in order.

Concerts took place in the USA and in Europe. The performance covered the entire album, in strict order and unchanged. The only song Empty Space was supplemented by the composition What Shall We Do Now?, T.To. The second song was originally in the original The Wall. Also, the song became the concert exclusive The Last Few Bricks, which connected Another Brick in the Wall (Part III) and Goodbye Cruel World.

Rick Wright was invited to concerts as a session musician. It is ironic that he is the only participant in the group who earned the most on this round, t.To. The official composition of Pink Floyd spent more money on concerts.

The performance demonstrated the plot of The Wall whole. However, concerts were remembered by special effects and other beautiful finds. For example, at the end of the song in the flesh? A small plane flew over the wall and exploded, thereby showing the death of Father Pink. During Comfortably Numb, the guitar solo was performed by Gilmor on a hydraulic elevator, which lifted it to the top of the wall, where the illuminated figure of the puppet threw a giant shadow into the audience. Well, the destruction of the wall at the end is a separate variety of pleasure.

It is impossible to describe in words, it must be watched. And concert entries have remained since those times.
